Studio Context Base: AI That Knows You

Today we're introducing Context Base - the feature that makes Studio's AI truly understand your project.

What is Context Base?

Context Base is your team's collective knowledge made available to AI:

  • Coding Standards - Your style guides, naming conventions, and architectural patterns inform every AI response.
  • Component Library - The AI knows your existing components and suggests using them rather than generating duplicates.
  • Best Practices - Document your team's best practices and the AI follows them automatically.
  • Commands - Define reusable commands for repetitive workflows. Create shortcuts for common tasks like "deploy to staging" or "run full test suite" and execute them with a simple trigger.

How It Works

Add markdown files to your Context Base to teach Studio about your project. Define coding standards, document component patterns, and create commands for workflows you run frequently. When you ask Studio to generate code or perform tasks, it draws on this context to produce results that fit naturally with what you've already built.

No more "that's not how we do things here" moments. The AI works the way your team works.

Coming Soon

We're working on automatic codebase analysis that will detect your project patterns and suggest Context Base entries. For now, manually curate your context for best results.

Getting Started

Context Base activates automatically when you open a project in Studio. Add markdown files to define your standards, patterns, and commands.

Beta Update

Studio remains in beta. Context Base is available now for all beta participants.
