Updates to Experience Designer for Shopware and the Shopware integration: product and category page layouts and prices from Shopware price rules.
Design product and category pages in Experience Designer
Until now, Experience Designer for Shopware was for landing pages. Now you can also design the layouts of your product pages and category pages. You build one layout, it fills in each page's own product or category with its name, images, description and price, and in Shopware you assign it to as many products or categories as you like. No more building a page for every single product, and product and category pages get the same design freedom your landing pages already have.
To check a layout, pick any real product or category from your shop under "Preview as", even before the layout is assigned anywhere. The agent builds against that real data too, so what it creates shows your products and categories from the start. To use product and category layouts, update the Frontic Shopware extension.
Different prices per channel with Shopware price rules
Frontic now works with the advanced prices you set up with price rules in Shopware. In a channel's Shopware integration settings in Frontic, the new optional "Price Rule" field lets you pick a rule, and that channel shows the prices from it; leave it empty for the standard price. So you can run different prices in different channels, for example in a country shop or a sale channel, with Frontic and Shopware together.
More improvements
- Your shop's languages from the start - New experiences start with the languages your shop uses, so each one shows its own content.
- Preview on the right domain - Choose which shop domain and sales channel an experience's preview runs on.
- Layout kind on cards - Cards in Experience Designer show whether a layout is for landing pages, products or categories.
- No more "Slot empty" - Shopware slots of an experience that is not published yet no longer show a "Slot empty" message.
